Once a long time ago someone played this song for me when I was having a bad day and it made me smile. I guess I'm easy to make happy.

I love Morrissey, that's no joke. So to leave this song off this countdown would be absurd. "Irish Blood, English Heart" focuses on Morrissey's joint Irish/English heritage and was also his first single in over seven years when released. If you ever get a chance to see him in concert, do it. I took my dad a few years ago for Father's Day and it remains one of his favorite gifts! (You know, unless hell ever froze over and there was a Smiths reunion.)
